President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has expressed confidence that Akwa Ibom State will deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking during a gathering of critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Government House in Uyo, Senator Akpabio commended Governor Pastor Umo Eno for his peaceful leadership style, inclusive governance, and commitment to the development of Akwa Ibom State.
The Senate President noted that the Governor’s humility, ability to carry people along, and ongoing developmental projects across the state continue to strengthen unity and confidence among the people. He also applauded the recent commencement of international flights at the Victor Attah International Airport, describing it as another important milestone for the state.
Senator Akpabio further stated that the people of Akwa Ibom remain appreciative of President Tinubu’s support and leadership, particularly for supporting the emergence of an Akwa Ibom son as President of the Senate, adding that such goodwill and partnership would be reflected through strong political support in the future.
